Our First Official Day of Teaching!

Today was our first day of teaching! It actually went quite well. After the staff’s morning devotion, Cleo and I decided that we would ask the principle if there is any classroom that does not have a teacher. The principle sent us to grade 3D! We entered the classroom to secretary teaching the class of 41 learners. She left and Cleo and I got started! It was so exciting to have our classroom, because we could do what we wanted to do without having to feel like you are imposing on another teacher. So we started by teaching our students some name games to get to know them. They seemed very excited. The rest of the day we just spent doing games and read aloud. We also decorated our room with different anchor charts, number lines, and the alphabet. We spent so so so much time working on routines and cues. Cleo and I seem to teach really well too. Overall it was a great day and I am super excited to see what tomorrow brings
